The Scene
Velvet ropes and red carpet guard this modest Peachtree edifice, standing out in the netherworld between downtown and Midtown. The backdrop of Crawford Long Hospital and a next-door sex shop appears both incongruous and yet strangely appropriate, lending character to what might otherwise be regarded as an unsophisticated locale. A steep stairway separates the tri-level lounge cum restaurant, but the climb is worth the view from the outdoor deck

The Draw
Several celebs have darkened Verve's doorways since its grand opening, including Janet Jackson and Jermaine Dupri. The first floor features an upholstered lounge, while the second floor will be mainly restaurant seating when the kitchens fully open in the fall. The top floor is a comfortable mix of both, with the added bonus of star-gazing from the two plush patios. On crowded nights, bottle service is a must for those who want coveted seating

When to Go
Night owls can often find that Saturdays tend to run well into the night, with DJs working overtime to spin late grooves
