The much- anticipated rebirth of Vinyl has finally come! A standard in Atlanta’s local music scene for the past 2 ½ years, local and regional musicians and fans welcome the return of this low-key, high quality venue for live performances.

Local bands such as Bain Mattox, Red Letter Agent, Second Shift, and Collective Efforts have been staples in the roster of performances as well as National Acts

The Scene
After a short hiatus, this West Peachtree haunt opens it doors for a medley of neighborhood songbirds and up-and-coming regional performers. The curved bar is home to many libations, while rickety stage-side chairs and tables pack the hardwood show area. Crimson walls replete with inset lighting add a splash of luster to the place, but the real draw is the outstanding acoustics and live riffs. On off nights, swing by for a solo evening out of the limelight

The Draw
While not as spacious as neighboring Earthlink Live or as posh as The Loft upstairs, Vinyl is a fine choice for low-cost live shows in a hassle-free setting. Weekly entertainers range from innovative soloists to homegrown talents. If the music gets too dissonant, groupies can slink off to the back and hone their pool-playing skills or duck into one of the cozy booths for a pint or cocktail
