Austin Entertainment Guide for Visitors and Locals |
 There's always something happening downtown in the Warehouse District, on the west side, and, most recently, on the stretch of Red River between 6th and 10th streets. Some venues, like the Continental Club, have long been off the beaten path, while others, like the Backyard, more recently expanded the boundaries of Austin's musical terrain.
The Austin Restaurant Scene:
The 2 areas where the greatest number of trendy restaurants are concentrated are downtown's West End/Warehouse district, near Fourth and Colorado streets, and S. Congress Avenue.
