The Setai is an intimate, serene oceanfront resort in the heart of South Beach.

Its design vision artfully combines the rich architectural history of the neighborhood and its cultural diversity with the International Art Deco movement, particularly its influence in Asia. Infused with natural materials, space and light, The Setai bears the unmistakable imprint of legendary hotelier Adrian Zecha.

The Art Deco landmark building was originally built between 1936 – 1938 as the famed Dempsey Vanderbilt Hotel. Next to it is our 40-story glass tower that surpasses all around it in elevation, views and design.

The Setai comprises two buildings, different yet built on the same foundations of superlative service and exceptional design.

The impeccable details of each guest room are exemplified by authentic jade pieces that were discovered in the antique markets of China and displayed to perfection on teak walls. Spacious. Stunning. Serene. The Setai awaits.

Studio Suites

The inspired design of our Studio suites allow the space to unfold in a manner so intuitive, so richly welcoming that it’s difficult to imagine that these suites weren’t always here. The Asian-style décor and inventive use of space creates a harmony of place and purpose that defines The Setai.

Our Studio Suites range in size from 582 – 610 square feet (54 – 57 square metres).

Junior Suites

Our Junior Suite envelops our guests in comfort. The tranquil Asian mood of our décor reflects our commitment to the celebration of well designed space that extends beyond the generously appointed suites to that which allows our guests room for themselves in their day.

Our one-bedroom suites are 847 – 900 square feet (79-84 square metres).

Two Bedroom Suites

Enter the suites in The Tower and experience the spectacular as the expanse of South Beach envelopes you. Two-bedroom suites are available in a range of views, partial ocean, ocean view and oceanfront.

Our two-bedroom suites are 1325 – 1407 square feet (123 – 131 square metres).

The Specialty Suites

For the truly discerning traveler, only the absolute best is to be expected. Measuring over 1,500 square feet in size, each of our well-appointed Tower Suites present a melding of space and vision against the backdrop of South Beach. This summer, book a Tower suite and receive a complimentary third night on us.

With six exceptionally unique suites all over 1500 sq. ft. in size, The Setai Tower Suites blend space and privacy with relaxation-inducing views to accommodate an extensive array of discerning tastes and desires.

The Loft Suite offers impressive 18 foot tall ceilings and floor–to–ceiling windows with panoramic views of the sparkling skyline and Atlantic Ocean, while the Entertainment Suite offers a wet bar for entertaining guests. The Oceanfront Spa Suite entices guests to indulge in private spa room services, complemented by stunning ocean views.

Available only upon request, The Penthouse is situated beautifully atop The Setai’s soaring oceanfront glass Tower, reflecting the ultimate in luxury and excellence. The 10,000 square foot Penthouse occupies the entire 40th floor and boasts a 4,000 sq ft rooftop terrace with private eternity pool and Jacuzzi offering 360 degree views of the glittering Miami Beach.
