Scene
Razzoo is ground zero for flocks of 20- and
30-somethings looking for a rousing good
time in the French Quarter. Crowds pour in
from the street day and night--this bar is
one of the first to fill and last to empty
as Bourbon Street ebbs and flows. There's
nothing mellow about this establishment,
which attracts beaded tourists and revved-up
locals with high energy and a touch of rowdiness.
The wild herd onto the dance floor to move
to karaoke until 9:30pm, then one of two
house cover bands until close.
The
Draw
Three bars offer a full menu of typical well
and call drinks, as well as specialty concoctions
like hurricanes, at tourist prices. Groups
gather around the flaming fountain or the beer
tubs in the back patio to gain a little more
personal space. Human traffic jams, which are
not always unappealing, in the club's front
