| Welcome to Orlando, Florida |
As the home of Walt Disney World Resort, Universal Orlando Resort, SeaWorld Orlando and Busch Gardens, and within a short drive of the Kennedy Space Center, Orlando is the most visited city in the United States and a popular destination for families from all over the world. Plan to spend several days exploring the theme parks, as they are all designed as destinations unto themselves.
Walt Disney World includes not only The Magic Kingdom, but also Disney’s Animal Kingdom, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and Epcot. Universal Orlando features City Walk and Islands of Adventure, in addition to Universal Studios Florida. SeaWorld Orlando and Busch Gardens, with their many animal exhibits and shows are not to be missed. Because of its many attractions and benign year-round climate, Orlando is also one of the busiest convention destinations in America. Its five championship golf courses include the famous Bay Hill Club and Lodge, home of the Arnold Palmer Invitational tournament.
Shopping at the Florida Mall, the Mall at Millenia, Orlando Fashion Square, and the Festival Bay Mall is upscale and world-class. And if you need a break from theme parks, golfing or shopping, relax at one of the city’s many beautiful lake-front parks or gardens filled with lush tropical plants and exotic flowers. |
