The Sitting Room now offers a full bar in addition to a fine selection of distinctive European wine and beer. Try one of our specialty cocktails made with fresh herbs or fresh fruit purees. We also feature a extensive selection of single malt scotches and whiskeys.

Settle in at the zinc bar, on the sofa, or at one of our candle-lit marble tables.The soft orange lighting and pulsing electronic beats set the mood for relaxed conversation with friends, or a romantic evening for two. During the summer months our front opens up to the patio for refreshing open-air drinking and dining.

The Scene
Intimate tables and a well-worn sofa and chairs blur the lines between cafe and living room at this eminently comfortable Queen Anne bar. Gently glowing lamps cast shadows across the burgundy cement floors and golden walls. Regulars drink wine and eat snacks at the bar seating area, or put up their feet on the valise-turned-coffee table. The front window, an old garage door, is thrown open on sunny days--enjoy the breeze and pretend you're in Paris.

The Draw
European cocktails kickstart the menu, including versions made with herbal liquor Chartreuse and tart Limoncello. The wine list is both extensive and affordable, mostly featuring bottles from France and Italy; the well-schooled staff are keen recommenders. Beer lovers will enjoy the long list of European brews, including Hoegaarden, Stella and Leffe on tap. Small, shareable tasting plates include a decadent cheese board, European-style smoked salmon, pate, tapenade and daily soups.
